Pasion Performance Group

Pasion Performance Group (PPG) is a Philippine-Hawaiian dance company who dance and study contemporary and traditional dance of Hawai’i and the Philippines in the Inland Empire, California. PPG was officially founded in 2022, after emerging as a platform for healing through dance, inter-cultural convergence, and ancestral re-membrance. It exists to generate a relationship of practice in ancestral knowledge and storytelling integrated with our understanding of immovable core values, and wellbeing for ourselves, families, and communities. PPG also exists to hold space for people to be their most sovereign selves, and to ignite innovation for future generations to be multifaceted creators and leaders. PPG explores evolving movement through a holistic, mind-body-spirit approach to learning about culture, its migrations, and the human experience.

The thought of PPG emerged in 2021 through brainstorms of cultural, accessible approaches to an integration of health, wellbeing, and creative practice for sustainability and long life (mabuhay).
